Katie Moon, the two-time pole vault world champion and reigning Tokyo Olympics gold medallist, has been announced as the event ambassador for the upcoming 19th edition of the Tata Mumbai Marathon. Organized by Procam International, the Mumbai Marathon holds the prestigious status of a World Athletics Gold Label Race.

Moon, who secured gold at the 2022 Eugene and 2023 Budapest World Athletics Championships, expressed her deep honor in being appointed as the International Event Ambassador for the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024. The 32-year-old American, set to defend her title in the 2024 Paris Olympics, sees the marathon as more than a race – an opportunity to inspire, make a difference, and celebrate the spirit of resilience, determination, and community.
