Indian ace shooter Manu Bhaker is all set to aim for the top podium finish at the Paris Olympics 2024. Having qualified for the summer game, Bhaker is one of the top medal prospects for India at the Paris Games.

Youth Olympics Games 2018

Manu Bhaker made a mark for herself at the international level by shooting gold in 2018  Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. She became the first shooter from India and the first female athlete from India to grab a gold medal at the Youth Olympic Games.  Bhaker shot 236.5 to stand at the top of the points table in the women’s 10m air pistol event. 

Commonwealth Games 2018

 In the final round of the women’s 10m air pistol event during the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, Bhaker secured the gold medal by setting a new Commonwealth Games record of 240.9 points in 10 m air pistol.

ISSF World Cup 18

In the women’s 10-meter air pistol, Bhaker defeated two-time champion Alejandra Zavala of Mexico. The Indian scored 237.5 in the final match against Zavalaa’s scor of 237.1. At the age of16, Bhaker became the youngest Indian to win a gold medal at the International Sports Shooting Federation World Cup in 2018.

In the following edition of the ISSF World Cup in 2019, she won the gold medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event in Delhi. In all the four Pistol & Rifle ISSF World Cups in 2019, she won the gold medal in the 10m air pistol mixed event with Saurabh Chaudhry as her partner.

Asian Games 2023

The Haryana- born shooter was a member of the team to win gold at the 25m rapid pistol event in 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou in China.

Manu Bhaker, Isha Singh and Rhythm Singh Sangwan scored a figure of 1759 after the preseason and rapid rounds.

World Championships 2023

Manu Bhaker was part of the winning team that clinched Gold at the 2023 ISSF World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Indian team comprising Rhythm Sangwan, Esha Singh, and Manu Bhaker shot a combined score of 1744 to beat Chinese Taipei in the 25 m pistol.
