Mary Hanna (Australia)

Mary Hanna is an Australian Equestrian who competes in the discipline of Dressage. She is the oldest athlete to take part at the Paris Olympics 2024 at the age of 70. Hanna has represented Australia seven times at the Olympics, the 1996 Atlanta, 2000 Sydney, 2004 Athens, 2012 London, 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo. She missed the 2008 Beijing Olympics due to an injury to her horse.

Juan Antonio Jiménez (Spain)

Juan Antonio Jiménez is competing at the Paris Games at the age of 65. He represents Spain in equestrian. He made his Olympic debut in Sydney in 2000 and then featured in 2004 Athens Olympics where he won silver medal in team dressage event. The Spaniard, however, missed the Summer Games in Beijing, London, Rio and Tokyo before returning for Paris Olympics 2024.

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (Sweden)

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson is representing Sweden at the Paris Games at the age of 62 making him one of the oldest athletes to take part in the 2024 Olympics. He competes in the sport of equestrian. Bengtsson made his maiden Olympic appearance at the Atlanta Games where he won two medals.

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson’s maiden Olympic appearance came in the 1996 Atlanta Games. Bengtsson won a silver medal each in 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Olympics. Paris Olympics 20204 is his fifth Olympic appearance.

Pius Schwizer (Switzerland)

61-year old Pius Schwizer is one of the veterans in equestrian to take part in the Paris 2024. After featuring in 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2012 London Olympics, Schwizer has come to Paris for his third Olympics. He is competing in the biggest competition after a decade of absence. He won a bronze medal in team jumping at the 2008 Beijing Games.

 Mario Deslauriers (Canada)

Equestrian Mario Deslauriers is representing Canada in his fourth Olympics at the 2024 Paris Games as a 59-year-old. He made his Olympic debut at the 1984 Los Angeles Games. The veteran has been taking part in the Olympics for the last four decades in equestrian. In 1984, he became the youngest athlete to win the FEI World Final Cup.
