Meet The Youngest Athletes At Paris Olympics 2024

Paris Olympics 2024 is going on in full swing. Over 10,500 athletes are taking part at the sports extravaganza in the race to Olympic glory. Out of these athletes, there are some who are making their childhood memorable.

Here is a list of the youngest athletes competing at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Zheng Haohao– 11

Zheng Haohao is the youngest Olympian to take part at the Paris Olympics 2024. She is the youngest athlete to represent China in the history of the Olympics. Haohao, who started competing in skateboarding, will take part in the park event at the Paris Games.

Vareeraya Sukasem- 12

12-year-old Vareeraya Sukasem is the second youngest athlete to take part at the Paris Olympics 2024. Sukasem was the flag bearer for Thailand in the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics. Sukasem competed in the women’s street event in skateboarding in the Paris Games and finished in 17th.

Heili Sirviö- 13

Heili Sirviö represented Finland at the age of 13 in skateboarding. She competed in the women’s park event. She is the youngest athlete in the history of Finland to represent the country at the Olympics. She has been competing at the international stage for the last two years.

Fay DeFazio Ebert- 14

Fay DeFazio Ebert switched from track and cross country to skateboarding at the age of 8. At 14, the Canadian is one of the youngest athletes to have taken part at the Paris Olympics 2024. She is the reigning Pan American Games champion in the park event of skateboarding, winning gold in Santiago in 2023.

Sky Brown- 16

16-year-old Sky Brown has crafted a niche for herself in the world of skateboarding. Brown represented Great Britain in the park event to become one of the youngest athletes competing at the Paris Games. Previously, Brown represented Great Britain at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics where she won a bronze medal in the part event.

Hezly Rivera- 16

Hezly Rivera was part of the US women’s gymnast team that won gold at the team event at the Paris Olympics 2024. She, however, could not qualify for the individual events. At 16, she was the youngest athlete in the entire US contingent to Paris.

Quincy Wilson- 16

Quincy Wilson is the youngest male in the US delegation at the Paris Games at the age of 16. The track and field athlete will be competing in the men’s 4X400m relay event.

Lola Tambling- 16

Lola Tambling will represent Great Britain in the Paris Games in what will be her Olympic debut. The 16-year-old skateboarder won the 2022 British National Championships and finished sixth at the 2023 World Championships. Tambling  will compete in the women’s park event in Paris Olympics 2024.
