Wanda Diamond League 2025 Schedule Announced: Kicking Off in April

The Wanda Diamond League 2025 is set to kick off in April, starting in Xiamen, China. After wrapping up an exciting 2024 season in Brussels, both fans and athletes can now gear up for the next series. The full schedule and list of events for 2025 has been published and is available on the official Wanda Diamond League website.

As in past years, the 2025 season will feature top athletes from around the world, competing across four continents in 14 prestigious one-day events. The top performers will secure their place in the two-day Diamond League Final, which will take place in Zurich.

The journey to the final begins in Xiamen on April 26th, and the next event will be held in Shanghai/Suzhou on May 3rd. After that, the league moves to Doha, Rabat, and then Europe for the first time on June 6th in Rome.

Throughout June and July, the competition will continue with stops in Oslo, Stockholm, Paris, Eugene, Monaco, and London. The final leg of the league starts in August with events in Silesia, Lausanne, and Brussels. Finally, Zurich will host the Wanda Diamond League Final on August 27th and 28th, marking its return in 2022.

Each track and field event will be held between four to seven times throughout the season, offering athletes from all over the world the chance to qualify for the final. At the Zurich final, 32 champions will be crowned, competing for the coveted Diamond Trophy and record-breaking prize money.

With the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo scheduled for September, the Wanda Diamond League serves as an ideal warm-up for athletes ahead of the major global event.
