Nara Devaansh Solving Chess Puzzles, One After Another
What exactly did Nara Devaansh do to earn his place in the World Book of Records? He took what’s called a “Checkmate Marathon,” working through 175 increasingly difficult chess puzzles selected from Laszlo Polgar’s legendary book, “5334 Problems, Combinations, and Games”.
Each puzzle demanded quick thinking, sharp memory, and lightning-fast moves. He solved all of them under strict supervision, not only showing off his raw talent but also proving he can handle the pressure like a seasoned grandmaster.
What Makes This Record Special?
Chess isn’t just about memorising moves. It’s all about strategy, patience, decision-making, and sometimes, pure courage. Nara Devaansh’s achievement, solving so many tough puzzles faster than anyone before, means he’s already ahead of top players in the chess puzzle world. Event organisers confirmed the puzzles got harder as he moved forward, testing not only his speed but his ability to stay focused and make smart decisions on the spot.
More Than Just One Record
Nara Devaansh isn’t stopping with chess puzzles. He also holds world records for completing the 7-disc Tower of Hanoi puzzle in 1 minute 43 seconds and arranging nine chessboards with all 32 pieces correctly in just five minutes.
His achievement isn’t just a big win for him and his family; it’s a proud moment for India’s rising chess stars. As chess grows more popular across the country, more young players are stepping onto the world stage and showing what they can do.
