The Ostrava Golden Spike Meet 2025 saw Australian teenage sensation Gout Gout stunning the field in the men’s 200 meters, clocking 20.02 seconds to set a new Australian record and rise to joint sixth on the world U20 all-time list.

India’s Olympic and world champion Neeraj Chopra showcased his dominance in the men’s javelin throw, clinching victory with a best effort of 85.29 meters.

In a highly anticipated women’s 400 meters showdown, Bahrain’s Salwa Eid Naser delivered a commanding performance, winning in 49.15 seconds.

Serbia’s Adriana Vilagoš claimed the women’s javelin title at the Ostrava Golden Spike Meet 2025 with a throw of 64.87 meters, edging out Japan’s Haruka Kitaguchi (63.88m) and the Czech Republic’s Andrea Železná (60.63m).

In the women’s 100 meters, Liberia’s Thelma Davis set a national record of 10.91 seconds, with New Zealand’s Zoe Hobbs (10.94) and Marie Josee Ta Lou-Smith (10.92) also posting outstanding times.
