International Masters League (IML) is all set to kick off on 22 February, the first match being between the neighbours India and Sri Lanka in Mumbai from 7:30 PM IST. This will be the inaugural season of the tournament and will conclude on 16 March. 

The league aims to celebrate the legendary cricketers across the world. It will be played in India across three venues, Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai, Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur and BCA Stadium in Vadodara. Let’s take a look at the format of the IML.

International Masters League 2025: Understanding the Format

A total of 6 teams will be playing in the IML namely, India Masters, Sri Lanka Masters, England Masters, Australia Masters, West Indies Masters and South Africa Masters. One team will face the other 5 once during the whole tournament in 18 matches in a round-robin stage. 

The top four teams will secure their position in the semi-finals and the winners will advance to the finals. The finals are set to take place on 16 March 2025. Each match will start at 7:30 pm daily.
