Prisco’s rankings are bound to spark some discussion, but one thing is certain: Patrick Mahomes is at the top of his list.

He has the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback ranked No. 1 once more, and for good cause. Mahomes just won back-to-back championships with Kansas City, giving him three Super Bowls to start his career. Prisco even questions whether he should be regarded as the new GOAT if he can lead the Chiefs to a three-peat, which has never been accomplished in NFL history.

Although Mahomes’ position at the top of the list shouldn’t surprise you, some other names and positions could. In this story, however, we’ll focus on the top 10 offensive players ranked by Prisco, along with an explanation of each ranking, beginning with No. 15 in Kansas City.

Who are the 10 offensive players in the NFL as per Pate Prisco

NFL Player

1. Patrick Mahomes

Despite having lower numbers last year, he proved during the playoffs that he is the league’s top player and is quickly approaching the status of all-time great. Will he be deemed the greatest player of all time if he wins three straight seasons? (With an overall ranking of No. 1st)

2. Trent Williams

He’s still the best-left tackle in the game at thirty-six. In addition to being essential to their run strategy, he is a superb pass defender. The only thing that worries me is when he will begin to look older. (With an overall ranking of No. 3rd)

3. Tyreek Hill

His speed frightens defensive backs and coordinators. He alters the way opponents play with his ability to sprint by people and convert short passes into big runs, collecting 119 catches for the Dolphins last season. (With an overall ranking of No. 4th)

4. Josh Allen

It was believed that he didn’t play well even though he led the NFL in total yards and touchdowns (44) when adding his passing and rushing touchdowns. Although he does turn the ball over much too often, he was and will once again be a strong contender for MVP this season. (With an overall ranking of No. 6th)

5. Justin Jefferson

He only made nine starts due to injuries last season, which is why his fourth-season total of 68 catches was a career low. However, he set a career-high with 107.4 receiving yards per game on average. (With an overall ranking of No. 7th)

6. Christian McCaffrey

He is the best back in the game; a dual threat who can run and catch the ball to put a defence to sleep. He is the quintessential modern-day back, and he is compensated accordingly. (With an overall ranking of No. 8th)

7. Ja’Marr Chase

For the Bengals in 2023, Chase enjoyed a fantastic season despite Joe Burrow’s absence. He recorded a career-high seven touchdown receptions on 100 catches. Anticipate that the Bengals will soon sign him to a large contract. (With an overall ranking of No. 13th)

8. Joe Burrow

Due to a calf strain that ended in a season-ending wrist injury that essentially ended the Bengals’ prospects of making the playoffs, he was only able to play in 10 games in 2023. He’s a star on the field. He must remain there, though. All that’s preventing him is that. (With an overall ranking of No. 15th)

9. Lamar Jackson

His next goal is to lead his team to the Super Bowl after winning his second MVP award the previous season. He is a much better thrower now, and under offensive coordinator Todd Monken, that trend should continue this year in Year 2. (With an overall ranking of No. 16th)

10. Penei Sewell

He is currently in his fourth season and is among the top offensive linemen in the league. He has great size, athleticism, and run-game mauling ability. Everything is his. (With an overall ranking of No. 17th)
