This week, the prestigious Pebble Beach Pro-Am welcomes the return of defending champion Justin Rose, who faces stiff competition from the crème de la crème of the PGA Tour in an 80-player field. Adding an extra layer of excitement, all professionals are paired with amateurs for the initial two rounds of the tournament, enhancing the dynamic and camaraderie of the event.

The star-studded lineup includes nine of the top-10 ranked golfers, with the reigning No. 1, Scottie Scheffler, making his debut at Pebble Beach. Although a newcomer to this particular event, Scheffler’s history on this course dates back to the 2019 U.S. Open, where he missed the cut. As he returns to Pebble Beach for only the second time, Scheffler aims to make a lasting impression on this iconic golfing venue.

Rory McIlroy, ranked just below Scheffler, also graces the Pebble Beach Pro-Am after an absence since 2018. Despite missing the cut in his last appearance, McIlroy made a notable comeback at the 2019 U.S. Open, finishing ninth. His return adds further intrigue to the competition, as fans eagerly anticipate his performance on this renowned course.
