<h3><b>United Cup 2025: Prize money breakdown</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">A minimum of US$11,170,000 (approx. AU$17,991,317) in prize money has been allotted to the United Cup 2025 which is evenly rewarded between WTA and ATP players. </span><span style="font-weight: 400"> The total prize money is split into three components: participation fee, per team wins and prize money</span></p>

<h2><span style="font-weight: 400">Shanghai Masters 2024: Key Players</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The top seven players in the world take up the top seeds in the draw. Shanghai Masters 2024 will be headlined by world number one Jannik Sinner, who is leading at the top of the ATP world rankings going into the final stretch of the season. He will be the tournament&#8217;s third seed. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Carlos Alcaraz will enter Shanghai Masters as the world number two, after surpassing Alexander Zverev in ATP rankings. Alcaraz has been a staple at each and every major tennis tournament, including the Paris Olympics 2024, guiding Spain to the Davis Cup knockout stages followed by leading Team Europe to victory in the Laver Cup.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Paris 2024 gold medallist Novak Djokovic, who did not win a single major title this year, can close the gap to the top three with a win in Shanghai.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Defending champion Hubert Hurkacz has withdrawn from the tournament due to injury, the only top 10 player absent from the draw in an otherwise stacked lineup. There, the 13th edition of the Shanghai Masters will see a new champion. </span></p>
