Praggnanandhaa made his comeback in the top 10 after winning the Tata Steel Masters and Prague Masters, which strengthened his position in the top 10 list. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hikaru Nakamura moved up to the second place after significant wins at the Freestyle Chess Tour and winning the American Cup. Gukesh D. climbed up to third place, reaching a career-high ranking and showcasing incredible growth and talent. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arjun_Erigaisi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Arjun Ergiasi</a> was ranked fourth with a rating of 2782, reflecting India&#8217;s dominance in chess. A total of three Indian chess prodigies have dominated the current top 10 FIDE rankings, with Gukesh D. being in third position, Arjun in fourth and Praggnanandhaa in seventh place. Outside of the top 10 rankings, Aravindh Chithambaram was placed eleventh while Anand Viswanathan was placed at the 15th position.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Meanwhile, in the women&#8217;s category, Hou Yifan continued to reign at the top, maintaining her first position with a rating of 2633. The top four positions have been dominated by Chinese chess players, with Hou Yifan on top, followed by Ku Wenjun, Tan Zhongyi, and Lei Tengjie. Meanwhile, only one Indian player has made it to the top 10 FIDE rankings in women, with Koneru Humpy being in the sixth position.</span></p>
