The Kaulig Companies Championship, PGA TOUR Champions, and Northern Ohio Golf Charities Foundation unite to honor Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning with the 2024 Ambassador of Golf Award. Scheduled for July 11, 2024, the award ceremony recognizes Manning’s global impact on golf ideals and his dedication to charitable endeavors beyond the golf course.

Expressing gratitude, Manning stated, “It is a privilege to be named as the recipient of this award. To see my name listed alongside the many distinguished individuals who have won this before me is a tremendous honor. I’ve been able to see the impact that golf can have in a community and opportunities that we have to make a difference in people’s lives. This award is an encouragement to continue making a difference through the game of golf.”

Manning’s accolade stems from his unwavering commitment to championing golf and contributing to charitable causes. Serving as the Honorary Chairman of the 2023 U.S. Amateur Golf Championship and participating in charity events like “The Match: Champions for Charity” with Tiger Woods, Tom Brady, and Phil Mickelson showcase Manning’s dedication to making a positive impact.

PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan praised Manning, stating, “Through the game we all love, Peyton Manning, one of the preeminent athletes of his generation and currently one of the most recognized personalities in sports and entertainment, has used his platform to make golf more welcoming to all.”

The prestigious Ambassador of Golf event, to be held at House 330 in Akron, Ohio, promises an evening of dinner, entertainment, and an insightful conversation with Manning. Proceeds from the event will benefit numerous organizations through the Northern Ohio Golf Charities Foundation.

Manning’s philanthropic efforts extend beyond golf, earning him recognition with awards such as the Bryon “Whizzer” White Humanitarian Award, NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, Bart Starr Award, and the Lincoln Medal. Manning and his wife, Ashley, established the PeyBack Foundation in 1999, supporting disadvantaged youth and endorsing programs that provide leadership and growth opportunities.

As an NFL legend, Manning’s illustrious career includes five MVP titles, 14 Pro Bowl selections, and a first-ballot induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2021. Manning’s name now joins a prestigious list of Ambassador of Golf Award winners, showcasing his enduring legacy both on and off the field.
