Cheapest seats to watch Jake Paul, Amanda Serrano in Puerto Rico
Amanda Serrano, a native of Puerto Rico, is set to compete on home soil for the first time since 2017 as she defends her IBF, WBA, WBO, and Ring featherweight titles against Nina Meinke on March 2. This highly anticipated event, which also features Jake Paul, will be streamed live on DAZN worldwide.
Serrano, a seven-division world champion, aims to continue her impressive legacy following a setback against Katie Taylor in April 2022, where her 28-fight win streak was halted. Since then, Serrano, known as “The Real Deal,” has bounced back with four consecutive victories, including a triumph over Danila Ramos in October. Notably, the Ramos fight marked the first 12 three-minute round contest for female fighters since 2007, although the WBC title was not at stake due to the organization’s refusal to sanction such rounds. Despite this, Serrano remains committed to pushing for change in women’s boxing, and her upcoming bout against Meinke will once again feature 12 three-minute rounds.
In addition to Serrano’s historic homecoming, fans will have the opportunity to witness Jake Paul in action. After a mixed 2023, which saw him lose to Tommy Fury but rebound with a victory over Andre August, Paul, the face of Most Valuable Promotions, will take on boxer Ryan Bourland.
The event is expected to draw large crowds, with fans eager to witness Serrano and Paul make history in Puerto Rico. Tickets are still available for the event, with prices starting at $50 and ranging up to $1,473 for V.I.P. access. The fight will take place at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, an arena with a capacity of up to 18,500 spectators.
In addition to the headline bouts featuring Serrano and Paul, the fight card includes several other exciting matchups, including Jonathan Gonzalez defending his WBO light flyweight title against Rene Santiago, as well as bouts featuring promising talents from Most Valuable Promotions, such as Javon Walton, Joshua Torres, Krystal Rosado, and Gloria Munguilla.
