Lamine Yamal Makes History! Teenager Joins Ronaldo in Exclusive Euro Assists Club

Lamine Yamal has etched his name into the Euro 2024 record books! Following his inch-perfect pass that set up Fabian Ruiz’s goal in Spain’s 4-1 victory over Georgia on Sunday, the young winger has become the first teenager since Cristiano Ronaldo to register multiple assists in a single European Championship.

This adds to Yamal’s earlier assist against Croatia, taking his tally to two for the tournament. His pinpoint cross against Georgia unlocked the deadlock and put La Roja on their way to a convincing win.
